Introducing the U.R.P. Adjustable Gas System. Unlike randomly positioned top ports, every port is strategically located next to the internal Bastard tooth where pressure builds up most significantly. This design ensures that the adjustable ports are directionally effective. Moreover, thanks to our self-timing Gen 2 system, the brake can be canted.
The innovative tunable gas system, in conjunction with the distinct APA ports, works cohesively to maintain a steady sight picture when the rifle is fired. With 8 directional gas ports that can be adjusted to counterbalance your U.R.P. (unique recoil profile), shooters have a total of 256 combinations available to keep their sights on target.
To fine-tune the brake to your U.R.P., begin testing with all the gas screws installed. Monitor how your red dot, irons, or crosshairs react, and start removing gas screws according to the recoil feedback.
Removing gas screws from the right side will shift the rifle's point of impact to the left, while removing screws from the left will produce the opposite effect. Ports closer to the nut have a more pronounced impact, whereas those nearer to the brake crown have a subtler influence. Once you determine the ideal U.R.P. combination, use Threadlock to secure your screws in place.
